A.K.A. Get rid of your magazine clutter!
In NYC, space is a precious commodity. Rent is high, and you are paying a pretty penny for every square inch of your abode. Any dead weight that sits around and does not get used? It’s gotta go.
I decided to get rid of my entire magazine collection (any ex-fashion student can attest to this sick addiction that takes over your home). I followed these simple steps so that I could keep the inspiring images, but chuck the heavy glossy excess.

Disclaimer: Some magazines ARE worth keeping. If you are wondering whether your magazine is worth keeping, you can ask yourself these questions:
Do I look through it a few times a month?
Is it not taking up the width of 3+ magazines on my shelf?
Do I get a lot of JOY every time I see it?
Is it the iconic issue of LOVE Magazine with the pink border and saucy Paz de la Huerta on the front? (If so, keep it.)
Is this something I just can’t get on tumblr/random blogs/etc? If not, keep it!
