You Will Need

Step 1Gather your materials to start creating your new doormat!

Step 2Squirt a generous amount of your white craft paint onto your paint palette. You will easily go through at least one small bottle of craft paint depending on your design.

Step 3Lightly paint your design and/or wording onto your doormat using your paintbrush.

Step 4Your design will look very faded after your first coat.

Step 5Apply numerous coats of white paint over your word and design until you reach your desired look. You do not have to wait for the paint to fully dry before adding another coat.

Step 6Allow your doormat to dry overnight before placing at your front door. It is just that simple to create your own!
