Fake Dragon Fire Opal

A somewhat cheap way to make a Dragon Breath Fire opal!
I've been looking at fire opals and realized there's not much of a diffrence between a Dragon's breath fire opal and a chip of Amathyist.
So I took some nail polish, altered the color just a little (ok so it covers the whole Amathyist chip) and covered it with sparkle Modpodge. I love the effect it has on the whole gemstone.

Then one day I was looking through my special chips of Amathyist (the ones I view as "heart"shaped) and I found one that was perfect but when I put it on the ring it didn't feel like it was... Well.. Complete.
So sadly I painted it and now I'm glad I did so.
Because it looks like a crystal of fire from a Dragon's heart.
