Easter Egg Penguin Locket

Cute, recycled penguin buddy!
I love penguins! Unfortunately, "Kinder Eggs" are illegal in the U.S., so I decided to use and old Easter egg to make this locket. There were already two holes in the top of my egg which was perfect to thread my string through. After i painted it, I found it was very easy to scratch so I decided to used clear coat (nail polish) on it. It worked great and made it shiny.
