Why buy it, when you can make it?
You can use this case for anything, not just pencils. Note: for the sake of this tutorial I have made a small case.

  • How to make a recycled pouch. Duct Tape Pencil Holder - Step 1
    Step 1

Before doing anything you need to decide what you would like it to hold (it's okay if you aren't sure). Measure out the object and double it (like if your pencil is 6 inches cut a strip of duct tape that is 12 inches). it would be a good idea to add an inch or two for extra space.

Next decide the width. If you want it to be wider cut another 12 inch (hypothetically) piece of tape and add it to the edge of the other piece. Make sure they are attached.

If your cases is 12 inch (hypothetically) in length then cut another 12 inch piece but this time cut that piece up the middle.
Then you need to place the pieces to the edges so that there is no opening.

Cut a small amount off of the top so that there is a hole for you to place your pencils in the case.
