DS card/ gift box
Its my brothers b-day coming up and I wanted to make a cool little box for the present I made him. So I decided to make one that looked like a DS (cause he is like in love with the DS and I made him a DS pen thing. haha) So yeah.. not great instructions but I hope they help.

Step 1
Fold the card stock around the back side of ds (the part where the hinges are)and make creases where it folds over. **thats kinda hard to explain with no pics. If you have any questions about this ask**
Step 2
Take the paper off DS and put DS on top of the paper (line it up with the edge that is folded). Trace the out line of closed DS on the paper and cut out. **again ask if you need to**
Step 3
Now measure the width of the part you folded in step 1 and cut a long strip of paper that width. Fold it around the open part of the paper DS (taping it to both sides as you go). Cut off extra paper.
Step 4
Now color all of that part black, except for the screen and buttons which are done with silver.

Step 5
cut out the silver screen part except for the side that touches the part you did in step 1. (this becomes the box part.)
Step 6
Now for the card part.

Trace around DS onto spare card stock. Cut out. Decorate like the picture on one side.Then color black and put a silver screen in the middle on the other side (refer back to step 4's pic for help)

Write your message on the silver screen.
Step 7
Tape the card part (red side up) to the part you made in step 1.(should be able to open easily)

And there you got your DS card/ box. Please ask if you need help with this. It was kinda hard to explain.
