A true favorite of the American south and a total comfort food!
I love drop biscuits. They were my mothers go-to whenever it came to quick breakfasts or easy sides. Most people serve pasta or rice, my mother served drop biscuits. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve eaten these with a side of scrambled eggs as a start to my day or even as dinner. When you’re sick and you can’t stomach much, you get biscuits (or cream of wheat). When you’re in a rush for breakfast, you get biscuits. Basically biscuits were the panacea for all occasions in our house.
