• 

  Step 1

  For this project you will need a decent bundle of driftwood (you could use any wood as long as the bark isn't going to flake off and it is clean), a glue gun and a fair few glue sticks & at least 2 tins of white spray paint.

• 

  Step 2

  Lay out your design on a flat surface making sure the part of the wood you want to see is facing upwards as this will be the front of the wall art.

  Step 3

  Using small dabs of glue ensure all touching bits of wood are glued together but make sure you can't see the glue. Once you are finished and the glue is dry turn the wall art over and apply as much glue to the back necessary to ensure it is solid and not going to fall apart.

  Step 4

  Once the glue has dried and you are sure your piece is solid remove any strings of glue.

  Step 5

  I used an old chair that I always use for spray painting to hold my wall art while I sprayed it with white spray paint. Spray as many times as needed until you are happy with the finish.

  Step 6

  Once dry, mount on a wall using a nail or hook or simply place in a garden.

  Step 7

  That's how you make your very own driftwood wall art.
