From Frumpy & Dumpy to FABULOUS!
When I bought this dress it was way too long and the top had no structure, so it wouldn't stay up. I "tweaked" it by cutting three inches off the bottom and using that fabric to make straps to hold up the top! Brilliant!

    Step 1

Step #1: Since the dress was too long for me, I cut 3 inches off of the bottom from the front and back, leaving me with 2 strips of fabric for my new straps!!!

Step #2: I folded those strips of fabric in half length wise (wrong sides facing out) and pinned them to hold the fabric in place.
