About
using a plastic hanger + frames
Why buy when you can DIY, I say. This is a fun example of how I took something you can buy in any office supply store and made one myself. All you need for this project is a plastic hanger [free], two lucite shadow box frames and some screws. I threw all that together and created this modern desk organizer for almost $0!

Step 3
Once your holes are made on the hanger place it inside the frame roughly centered and make a mark on the frame where the holes on the hanger are. Now SLOWLY [that is key since you don't want to crack the frame!] drill your holes in the frame. Once you drill both holes on the frame, place your hanger inside the frame, line up all the holes and screw them together.

Step 5
Now lay your frame on its back [above picture] on a level surface. Slip your smaller frame in between the hangers to a point where you like. I spaced mine about a clenched-fist distance apart. Put a mark on both sides of your hanger where you will drill your next set of holes. Drill a hole on each side. Mark on the lucite frame where your next set of holes will be. Drill one hole on each side of the frame. Screw the hanger and frame together.
