• 

  Step 1

  All you need is scissors, thread, leather or fabric, a strip of fabric, pins and a ruler

• 

  Step 2

  Measure and cut a piece of leather of 24 by 15 cms

• 

  Step 3

  Fold in half with long edges together and the right sides touching, then pin.

• 

  Step 4

  Sew the long edges together half a centimeter in from the edge

• 

  Step 5

  Turn the leather the right way out

•

  This is how it should look like

  Fold the edges together and sew half a centimeter in from the edge

  Cut nodges close to the edge to make it more flexible

  Now fold it, so it looks like this

  Use a strip from around 5 centimeteres to pull the bow tie into shape

• 

  Step 11

  Fold the strips in half with right sides together and sew across the edge

• 

  Step 12

  Slide the strip of leather until you reach the middle of the bow tie

•

  Shape the bow tie, it should look like this
