If your dinosaur doesn't have a spine-thing, you could probably just use the hot needle to melt a small part of the dino's back and put the jump ring in there.

Also! DON'T BURN YOURSELF. IT HURTS.

    Get some small plastic toys (or big toys , if you want, I guess)

    Here's a dinosaur, a Barbie shoe, and some Lego bricks.

    Light some sort of tealight or candle and use it to heat the needle.

    KEEP THE NEEDLE MOVING OVER THE FLAME AND DON'T BURN YOURSELF.
    Seriously. It hurts.

    While the needle is still hot, stab a hole through your plastic toy.

    The hole can be pretty much wherever.

    Add a jump ring and/or whatever sort of jewelry findings you want.
