• 

  Step 1

  Choose the digital photos that you want to use for your collage bauble. Print them out wallet sized (about 8 on a sheet of A4 paper). For one set of cards I used photos from snow last year (as per photo) and also made a set from photos of Christmas lights/tree decorations.

  Step 2

  Tear up your photos and arrange into collage in a rough circle shape, approx 8 - 10cm in diameter. Glue onto paper or card. I use Pritt stick here, it's smooth and you don't get any bubbles or creases.

  Step 3

  Use a compass (or upturned glass!) to draw a circle and cut out.

• 

  Step 4

  Scan your collage onto your computer and then edit and crop until you have the effect you want.

  Print out multiple collages onto high quality photo paper, (I did 12 to a page of A4, copying and pasting using Word). When printing, it's a good idea to practice on normal paper until you get the effect you like.

  Step 5

  Carefully cut out your collages.

  Step 6

  Glue the collage bauble onto your prepared cards with pritt stick. I used thick sketch book pages to make these, or you could buy ready-made cards.

  Step 7

  Draw in the bauble fastening and hanging loop from the top of the card and glue on your embellishments with tiny amounts of PVA glue, I used 3 white snowflakes here.

  One I made earlier.
