why bake when you can knit your cookies
I cast on 30 stitches in black and knit in the round for 10 rows…..I actually used my thumb as a point of measure-tip to the first joint.

I cut a long tail, and gathered the live stitches very tightly, tied a knot. Don’t cut the tail yet. Turned it inside out, and picked up my cast on stitches the same way really tight, and tied them off. Cut the yarn now..:-) Like a quilters “yo-yo”.
Then, I used a steam iron and a press cloth, to make them very flat….they will be bulky in the middle..it’s okay.

With white, cast on 30 stitches…and then bind them off, and used the tail yarn to sew your edges together, make sure not to twist it….should look like an onion slice. So it doesn’t add more bulk. DO NOT IRON!

Now, stack them…and sew them together with some scrap black yarn….and there’s your diet cookie.

That’s how I did mine.
