About
I'm not all pinks and pretties!
Looking back at the projects I've posted, I noticed that they were all pink, purple, and pretty. I don't want to pigeonhole myself, so I'm sharing my favorite shrine project!

Step 1
Start by painting your shadow box. I taped newsprint over the glass since it was not removable.
I did a coat of coral, once dry I added a coat of yellow. I wiped it down a bit with a dry cloth to let some of the coral show through. I then sprinkled it with a little dark green embossing powder to age it.

Step 3
Now to decorate your background. Cut a piece of felt to fit the back of your box. Now embellish it! I cut shapes (an arch, hearts, etc.) from clashing colors of felt and stitched them onto the background with contrasting thread. Then I added mini scrabble tiles and some sequins.
Cut thin pieces of felt to cover the sides of the inside of your box and decorate those too. Mine are painted.

Step 4
To decorate the "floor" of your box, spread a thin layer of white glue over the surface. Leaving space for your doll's feet, sprinkle glitter or beads everywhere else.
