• 

  Step 1

  The idea is pretty simple. I was inspired by the demotivational poster here. I went back and forth between writing "designer knockoff" and "designer bag" on it. I eventually settled on bag because I am as designer and it gave a nice double meaning to the bag.

  Step 2

  I wanted mine to have a little more oomphf than the one pictured so I got a bag with more structure to it and painted it red on the front and back and contrasting black panels on the sides(but left the paint splotchy, don't want it to look too good!) Make sure to hear set your acrylic with an iron!!!!

• Step 3

  To spruce up the handle I took my red and black yarn and wove them around the handle like you would when making yarn covered wire hangers. I made sure not to keep it even so it would get as little rough texture.

• Step 4

  Finally I lightly wrote out my words with the permanent marker, and when I was happy with them, went over them a lot of times!!!! Darken it up and make it look bad... The other side (not pictured) has them written only once with a king size sharpie, but I think this side looks better!
