show off your house loyalty... with sparkle!
as you might quickly discover at the craft/bead store, crystal beads can get a little expensive... I got mine from Michaels when they were on sale. I used a package of about 30 beads (4mm bicones) in the accent color, and one package of about 16 (6mm bicones) in the main color. I also found a line of inexpensive sterling-plated charms and used letters representing each house (I tried animal charms first, but snake and badger charms were hard to come by) as the focal point of the necklace. These aren't hard to make, but if you've never made loops with needle pliers, you might want to practice a bit first.

Those are beautiful. I might try to make one for a friend of mine.
