You Will Need

Step 1
chose a fabric for the under layer of the skirt. make sure it reaches around your waist more than once and gather it

Step 2
now cut out a long rectangle peice that goes just a little bit more than around your waist. sew this to the gathered edge of the other peice

Step 3
now cut lots of random colourful strips of fabric and sew these along the top of the skirt

Step 4
fold the rectangle over to cover the raw edges of the fabric strips. now chose a zip and sew it down the edge and join the sides all the way down... DONE :)
you can trim the strips off if you dont want them dangling down... it still looks really cute! :D
