Comercial lipstick contains really bad stuff, so this is pretty harmless, basically this is just wax and pigments (acording to crayola website). I don't know how seriously allergic people would tolerate the pigments.

even though its non-toxic, are the chemicals still safe enough to put on your face/skin?. is there breath-ability from the wax?

Super safe, as long as it is non toxic. Crayola is non toxic, I am unsure about other brands.

Generic is ok, just don't use pastels or other type of similar items 'cause most of them are toxic

I have just tweeted this, fbooked it and put it on stumble upon, i think this is way cool, and I am gonna have to buy some crayons to make it, would it work as well with normal non toxic, or just crayola x

If it becomes to hard dip it in Glycerin, leave a few minuts, works with any dry lipstick

Perhaps you could put a little oil or petroleum jelly in so it doesn't get too hard.

It doesn't get super hard when dry (maybe in winter will pull your skin a bit), its creamy almost like any lipstick

sweet idea, but when it dried does it pull on your skin? or does it stay softer than crayons?
