Colour Box

a box + a few magazine squares
I've had this wooden box for years, I kept there some brushes and paint I never used much. So I decided to turn it into a notions box.
The box was painted white with some hideous polka dot in blue and orange (yes, I know it's awful - I was ten when I painted that!) so I painted the box black, and covered the lid with squares of magazine paper, in a rainbow-y way. The inside of the lid has black squares and the inside of the box has white ones.
I'm reeeaaally satisfied with the result. It looks really cool to me and looks amazing in my sewing room.
