About
Broaches of the Shrinky Dink Variety
I bought Shrinky Dinks from my local craft store because I wanted to make jewelry for friends for Christmas. Turns out I didn't buy the type that can be printed on via printer because the ink wouldn't dry. This pin was a trial run, but I liked the way he turned out.
I followed the directions on the packaging: 300 degrees for 1-3 minutes but had issues with the end result curling. You must have PATIENCE; when I was hasty and didn't let them uncurl in the toaster oven only moments after they curled, the end result was rigid and warped. They are pretty pliable when warm and can be reheated to try to flatten them out.
