  • Step 1

first cut one line of red fimo and one line of white fimo. Roll each into a long thin sausage.

  • Step 2

Next twist the two coulours together so that you have a spiral. It should look like the twists of colour in a candy cane but lumpy

  • Step 3

carefully roll the twist between your hands and a flat surface until it smooths out into a single stick.

  • Step 4

Depending on the length of your stick you will probably be able to make a few canes. Cut the stick into sections as big as you want your canes, remember the hoop at the end and add some length for that

  • Step 5

Take the sections and bend each one into a candy cane shape. round off the endo of the hoop with your fingers. Add a bow or some holly with the green clay for decoration. (If your not sure how to make a bow this video is a nice easy help ((not mine)) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkH06apJp2s)

  • Step 6

Carefully push a single headpin through the middle of the hoop. You can create a loop for the ribbon now if you want to but i dont like to risk bending the clay out of shape so i bake the headpins straight. Bake for 30mins at 110c or as your packet instructs

    Step 7

once your canes have cooled create a loop in the headpin and cut off any excess. If you want to, glaze your canes. And your done!
