A pretty cross stitch box for a stitching friend
The box is painted with white acrylic paint. I designed and stitched the Joy cross stitch design, mounted it on a piece of white 2mm thick card and a small piece of lightweight wadding, this was glued to the top of the box with fabric glue. The cord was hand made using the stranded embroidery thread and glued around the edge.
The brooch was embroidered with seed beeds and spider web roses, the polymer clay roses were hand made and atttached to the three dressmaking pins
