Chocolate Toffee Saltines

My mom has made these for years! She calls it soda cracker candy, because she's country like that. These are delicious!

I made these too! And everybody who tries them wants the recipe, this is soooooo awesome!

Saw this recipe three places in one week, so that was pretty much a sign. Plus my birthday is tomorrow, so why not? Thanks for posting such a wicked awesome recipe that makes soda crackers not disgusting.

I LOVE these things.....I saw them on a cracker box and I've made a million batches since! I really like to put dried cherries in instead of nuts. I call it quick toffee because it sounds better than using saltines and chocolate in the same sentence......

Hmm, chill them? Could I put them in the oven to melt the choc, then chill? Wow.

I also like the ones with peanut butter and marshmallow put under the broiler for a minute.... mmmm, melty!

I am going to try this and take it to our card club. Cool idea and very cost friendly.
