These are moist & tasty.
You could eat them without the icing & they would still taste great.

Step 1In a pan combine dates, sugar, butter & water.
Heat until boiling.
Reduce to a simmer for 5 mins.

Step 2Remove from heat.
Add the chocolate.
Stir to melt & combine.
Put aside to cool.

Step 3Once cooled, beat in eggs one at a time.

Step 4Stir in flour & milk alternating until all ingredients are used.

Step 5Pour into tin bake 180 degrees for 30 mins.

Step 6Remove from oven.
Cool completely.

Step 7Icing...
Mix butter, icing sugar, cocoa & enough water to make a paste.

Step 8stir until smooth & combined.

Step 9Pour over the cake & smooth out.
Allow to set.

Step 10Cut & serve.
