Cheshire Cat Handbag

I'm going to take up a Textiles PGCE (teacher training) course in September, and have to do a project to prove my skills are up to standard (I don't have a GCSE, A Level or Degree in the subject, just self taught!). The themes I had to use were 'Texture' and 'Black and White'. I also gave myself the added theme of 'Alice in Wonderland'. This is my Cheshire Cat inspired handbag. He's a bit slumpy because I didn't know how to put in a scaffolding, and he looks a bit creepy, but overall I like him. His mouth unzips and he has teeth and a swirly lining behind, and then the inner lining of the main body is printed with playing cards. My favourite bit is the appliqué feet.
