About
holla its some challah!
This was my first time making bread and it turned out wonderful. It is a sweet bread so I spread Nutella on slices of it. Yum!
My baking buddy friend gave me this recipe.

Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
Then add the honey, oil and egg to the yeast mixture and beat well.
Next, add the flour one cup at a time.
-
Step 2
Grease a bowl with vegetable oil.
Place the dough in the bowl, cover (with plastic wrap or a damp towel) and allow to rise for 1 hour.
-
Step 3
Punch down the dough and knead it for a few minutes.
Next is the fun part! Braid your dough. I chose to do a simple braid and then curved it to fit my pan but you can make it into any braided shape you want!
-
Step 4
Cover the dough again and let rise for 30 minutes.
-
Step 5
Glaze the dough with an extra egg before putting it in a 375 degree F oven for 40 minutes.
