3 Different Easy carnival style make-up designs to do yourself
I was doing a project on carnivals so used some simple make-up techniques to create these super cool carnival faces.

You Will Need

Step 1
Firstly its best to search for other carnival make-up or masks to inspire you on the design.
(Much easier to NOT do a symmetrical design) -
Step 2
Then use an eye liner very lighty and draw on the basic out lines for the design. If you go wrong, rub out and do again (this is why it needs to be lightly done).

Step 3Then get your first eye shadow (shimmery is best), get your eye shadow brush (small size) and dip it (a little) in water

Step 4Use that brush to make the eye shadow pallet wet, this will make the eye shadow more like face paint.

Step 5Then use the moist eye shadow to fill in sections on your face.
Alternate with different colours till you are happy.

Step 6
After your face has dried, go back over the black lines in a darker black eye liner with think lines. Also expand lines into swirls and add dots around the lines.
- For the second and third style I used purple eye liner, and went over the sections with a cross hatch effect.

Step 7
Add eye liner to actual eye and mascara with some colourful lip stick.

Step 8
Optional: spray lightly from far away with some hairspray (should make the make-up stay on longer) -Wait for spray to dry.
And you're done!!
