Based on Burlesque Bustle Skirt by Becca K.
I left out the laces (didn't have any) and there's only 2 layers in the bustle skirt itself. I'm wearing a gypsy skirt below it.*
Yellow is not exactly my color but I made it for a performance where we were made to wear black and yellow. I was wearing a long black skirt underneath it all and a black t-shirt on top.
The skirt closes with a yellow button in the front. Both skirts were made from white bed sheets. I had to paint them twice to get this color depth. (It would have been cheaper to just buy yellow fabric...) It took less than 8 hours to make. More like 4. Not counting the painting.
* Basically it's an oval with the waist-hole off center so one side (the back) is longer than the other.
