Ruby warmth to protect you from the cold
This project started out as a way to use up some super-bulky red yarn I had stashed. I'd been lusting after a slouchy hat and decided to give it a whirl. The hat ended up not being for me, but I decided to make a matching scarf with the last ball of this yarn and include the set in a swap and sell event I'm participating in. After some fussing with re-learning how to i-cord and getting everything lined up the project was pretty easy. From start to finish the set took me a week to make, working a few hours here and a few hours there.

The beret's pattern can be found at Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/thick--quick-slouchy-beret
