About
There's something on your back
Right. So. Doctor who shirt. This is based off of the season 4 eppie "Turn Left". as you can see the front says "there's something on your back" and on the back there is a time beetle. :)
Basically I grabbed a shirt, exactoknifed some stencils, mixed a 50/50 solution of water and bleach, put cardboard inside the shirt, placed the stencils on the shirt and sprayed away! (I put the solution into a spray bottle). I quite like the effect, but I wish the front was a bit clearer.
I apologize for the low quality pics.

Rio B: Thank you! As I said above, I used stencils and placed them on the shirt. Then basically I worked as quickly as possible with the bleach. So in all it took me maybe 5 min with the bleach. I didn't want it to bleed too much that's why i hurried. The evil part is that the bleach collected on the stencils, so when i lifted them up, they started to drip onto the actual shirt, thus the letters running together. No, I didn't wash out the bleach in anything special. I made sure that nothing was in the washing machine and then threw the shirt in(i didn't add detergent), and washed it and dried it. Hope that helps. If you have anymore questions let me know!

That is SUCH an awesome concept. I love the beetle on the back. This shirt would scare me to wear!! I have a question... about how long did you leave the bleach on the front? And did you rinse the shirt out in anything special afterwards?
