• Step 1

  1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix (or any other cake would work)
  (follow instructions on box)

  1, 6 to 8 oz jar carmel
  1 tub cool whip (reg size about 8 oz)
  1 package chopped up candy bars (orginal recipe was with heath bars) but Ive used different kinds
  1 small can (about 7 oz)of sweetened condenced milk

  Bake your cake according to directions on the box (test cake with tooth pick in the center if cake if it comes out clean its done, if some cake is still on the tooth pick put back in for about 5 more minutes check regularly,) take out and put in refrigerator and let cool for 1-2 hrs. Take out and with a wooden spoon handle (or anything you can poke holes with) poke holes all around your cake kinda like in a row. When that is done open the can of sweetened condenced milk and pour it into your cake holes you just made, then do the same with the carmel, then put your cool whip all over the cake then top with your chopped up candy bars and then cut an enjoy!
