A great Christmas gift or decoration for your tree!
This is a Christmas variant of the Tree of Life ornament (one of my faves!)

I've used a strong copper wire, putting loops at each end and then binding them at the top, giving the outer ring a slightly teardrop shape.

The Christmas tree itself is formed out of 9 strands of flexible green craft wire, twisted together. Using a larger number of strands, you can start from the bottom for your 'trunk', and work upwards. I made the basic triangular shape, and then went back and wrapped it in beads.

When wrapping the outside, I made the mistake of stringing the white and silver beads on the same green wire. If I had it to do over again, I'd use the same gold craft wire that I used for the interior garland.

The presents are made from large wooden beads with seed beads twisted with wire on top to make 'bows'.

The star at the top is actually a pewter pendant, which looks nice, and has a loop attached, convenient for stringing silver embroidery thread through for hanging.
