Baby Blanket With Dog

Nice blue baby blanket with cute dog on it
I just wanted to show you the Baby Blanket I sewed for a friend of mine who's expecting a little baby boy <3
All in all it was not too difficult, but more than I had expected it to be though. It is made out of two different blue cotton fabrics, some vlies to give it a little more volume and an nice and fluffy elephant-printed vlies at the back.
I sewed the Dog motive seperatley and attached it with Vliesofix. Then sewed around the different parts (Dog,background and the stars (gosh the edges were the worst...)) to border and fix them. The worst thing (which nearly killed my patience) was to border the whole thing with a satin dark blue ribbon.
But it was worth it as my friend loves it :)
