Create an agate adorned box!
Sometimes you need a quick and pretty DiY just to ease your crafting cravings (do you get those or is it just me?). That was the case one afternoon and two items from my coffee table were combined into one beautiful agate gold box

You Will Need

Step 1This was the before. See the black box in the foreground and the little agate at the back? I was "in need" for a DIY and these two were going to be my project!

Step 2I took the box outside and gave it three coats of gold spray paint, waiting for each coat to dry completely before applying the next one.
If you want your makeovers to last longer a final layer of protective varnish is also a very good idea when using spray paints!

Step 3When the "new" gold box was completely dry, out came the hot glue gun and the agate was attached to the top. Done!

Step 4I love how it pops up against the dark surface of the table and even the small agate is more noticable now too!
