    There is a lot of creative possibility for this project however I will just tell you what I did and you expand upon that.

    Get 2 colors of paper that you want and draw a hexagon on one(try to make it perfect or trace one). connect the opposite corners and continue the line.

    Measure out one centimeter away from each corner. Then mark 2.5 cm away from the middle. And connect the lines to make 3 sort of pentagons. Like in the picture.

    Lay the paper with the shape on top of your other piece of paper and cut out the shape. Fold up the flaps. It should look like this when you’re done.

    Put on of the pieces you made on top of the paper and trace it. Then enlarge the 1 cm lines by 1.5 cm. and move the point of the shape 1.5 cm up. (simply make the shape 1.5 cm longer)

  • Step 5

    Cut out the shape in each color. Make 2 pieces of the same size but different color. make as many different sized pieces as you want.

    Cut out a small square of foam board.

    Decide how you want your design to be then poke small hols in the center of each hexagon.
    Push a thumbtack through the holes in size order. Push the thumbtack through the foam board to hold everything in place.

    Bam you're done :) you can carefully move the pieces around to change patterns.
