How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

Teen angst

What projects are you currently working on?

I have been doing a lot of collage projects lately. My most recent collage was created in Photoshop as a repeat pattern that I had printed onto fabric from www.spoonflower.com. I then sewed it into a shirt. It was super fun!

What does your craft space look like?

I don't have any one designated craft space. The entire world is my space! This could include my bedroom, the kitchen, studio space at school, an alleyway, a forest, maybe even the moon one day...who can know for sure?

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

I consider myself an interdisciplinary artist so I don't have any one specific thing I use most. With this in mind, I would say that a ceramic blade precision knife and Photoshop are my two favorite go-to's for a good majority of my projects.

What do you craft along to?

Music all the way.

Favorite Craft

Freezer paper stenciling has been my absolute favorite craft over the years. It actually was one reason that led me into deciding to go to university to study fine arts (I am currently in the 4th year of my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree). Now I have expanded my knowledge and do a bit of silk-screening on fabric and shirts. I spend most of my time and resources these days creating art, a lot of which have elements derived from my crafting knowledge and experiences.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn how to bind my own books.

Who are your crafting heroes?

Corinne and Rob from Threadbanger are for sure my ultimate crafting heroes. Actually, they might just be my life heroes as well!
