Dearest Crafting Fanatics,
I started painting my (trekking) backpack with acrylic paint and thought I'd seal it with the stuff we have at home. But now I'm not so sure it's the right kind of sealant.
According to the instructions, it will make most types of fabric waterproof (leather, jeans, BACKPACKS). It doesn't say anything about painted fabrics though.
Do any of you know if this is the right stuff for the job? If it's not, can you recommend another product?
Thank you!
I'll look for it, but I doubt we have it. Is there anything I could replace it with? Or should I just drop the recipes that require root beer? :p
I'm trying out some Butterbeer recipes and most of them say I have to use root beer. Now, as far as I know, we don't have root beer over here. However, we do have Canada Dry ginger ale.
Could I replace the root beer with ginger ale? Or is it something entirely different?
I just finished reading Stand & Deliver. Adam Ant's autobiography. I loved it. It was really honest and inspiring.
The Voodoo Queen by Robert Tallant
A book about the life of Marie Laveau.
Well I've decided to do black and blue and I'm gonna get the hairdye on wednesday. I'll post pictures when it's done^^
Awesome, I think I have an idea now on what I'm going to do^^
Thanks, guys!
Hi!
I've got two questions for you guys:
So, I've been thinking of dyeing my hair blue for the summer, but I'm feeling a little apprehensive on bleaching all of my hair first.
Right now, my hair is copper/ginger with a blond streak. I was wondering if I could just put blue dye on top or if I would have to bleach it first.
And by the end of the summer, I'd like to dye my hair red again. Does anyone have an idea if this might be possible? Or is the red just going to come out looking horrible?
Thanks!
I just finished reading "The Children's Book" by A.S. Byatt, which was a pretty complicated book, and now I'm reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde.
