It's good to dream and you can start small by making a simple frame loom and work your way up to a house! (Maybe!)

Hope you're all sorted now, but if you're still having problems it's also worth checking that the needle is in securely and you've tightened the screw as much as you can. If it isn't secured the movement of the machine can cause it to move off course and hit the needle plate which will break it. Happy sewing!
Gorgeous yarn! I've made a few crochet pots, bowls and so on; I'd recommend heading over to ravelry and searching their patterns. Many of them are free and there's everything from simple to complex. Happy making!
Hi! Acrylic yarn won't shrink and putting it through a very hot wash won't make it happy! What you could do in a case like this is sew a band of soft elastic inside the brim/edge of the hat for a bit of extra grip (and to stop it falling down over your eyes!)
Hi Lisa and Claire! Welcome to the wonderful world of Cut Out and Keep!
Thanks Melissa Beth! It's from the Isle of Lewis and is made from yarn leftover from weaving Harris Tweed. The colours are gorgeous aren't they!
Sounds like a great project, I look forward to seeing the results. Good luck!
You too!
Lots of great ideas Sheryl, thanks for sharing! Have you sen these amazing sculptures made from recycled bottles in Brazil http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2012/06/giant-fish-sculptures-made-from-discarded-plastic-bottles-in-rio/ ?
Hi @theoriginalphoenix! I'm looking forward to seeing some of your creations.
The time between Christmas and New Year is one of the rare points in the year where I generally have a bit of time to myself. I like to use it to do some dressmaking, I've got a lovely pinafore pattern and some cherry print needlecord waiting for me!
Aww, thanks @MischievousRaven!
Hi @MischievousRaven, I love the sketch with the bamboo pen. I've been experimenting with drawing feathers with feathers...
Hi @Callie! That's okay, maybe I can challenge you to try a new material for your art journalling instead?
Let me know what you think!
