Arty, I couldn't agree with you more. This old counselor we used to have stopped me in the hallway and said "You should smile. You'd actually look pretty if you smiled." I was like, "Uh, thanks..." There's nothing wrong with not smiling, especially if there's nothing to smile about. I don't have to be smiling every waking second. But yeah, if I don't, people assume that I had a bad day, or that I have a mood-off.

Summer would be nice! The weather where I live has been ridiculous! It's going to be 16 degrees, as a low this Thursday and Friday. 16 BLOODY DEGREES!
I totally understand what you mean, Courtney. People seem to be very ignorant of you, and I can tell. People in my class who haven't really talked to you say all sorts of stupid stuff, and I'm just like "Uhhhh, NO." It's really, really dumb.
NEOPETS MOVIE? OHMYGOD!! WHEN IS THAT COMING OUT?!

UGH! A PACKED GYM IS THE WORST. THE SMELL...OH GOD! THE SMELL!!!
Thanks guys! I wish other people I knew would come around...It's so frustrating...
For me, it's who I am. And the fact that everybody thinks they know who I am just because of my appearance. "Oh, she has brown skin, dark hair, and dark eyes! Her last name is Malik! She must be a TERRORIST!" Uh, no. I'm American. I was born in Macon, Georgia. My mum's from Ohio, and my dad's from England. "Oh look! That girl's wearing orange tennis shoes and a pair of black jeans! She's also got NATURALLY black hair! She must be a scene kid!" Noooo. I'm just wearing clothes that I LIKE to wear. Goshhh. I really, really hate pretentious ignorant jerks. Especially if they're stubborn. There seems to be a lot of them where I live.
I'm just really annoyed with stereotypes. People call me names because of STUPID things that they assume, and when I call them out, they get all defensive. My family is of the Pakistani nation, but this doesn't mean that I'm a Muslim; I am agnostic. However, people that I would consider my friends constantly make references from me to terrorism or Islam, making 'Crusades' related jokes around me and openly mocking people of Middle Eastern descent. I called them Ignorant, and they totally became obnoxious towards me, calling me stupid and over reactionary. Another thing that bothers me is that people call me 'emo' or a 'stupid scene kid' because I like Harajuku Fashion and I have NATURALLY black hair, which is cut layered (I'm currently trying to grow it out to get it cut in a 'non emo-scene' haircut.) I just really hate, hate, HATE stereotypes. Why can't ALL people be considered the same?
Well, in response to Courtney, I'd advise you to let it go, I mean it's just one guy and he won't be around forever. We go to such a small school anyway; when you get to college, they'll be tons of great guys that you actually can go on dates with (because nobody can drive when they're 14 XD). You can find someone who has a a lot in common with you, and I know you'll find someone great, because you're a very interesting and artistic individual, plus you're super nice and easy to make friends with
I'm looking forward to the release of Final Fantasy xiii and xiii Versus, and I'm also looking forward to the dvd releases of all of the awesome movies that came out recently. I'm also looking forward to my birthday, and the end of the school year
So, what's happening some time this year that you're looking forward to?
Mine are pretty simple, and I'm totally okay if I don't get them all done.
1. Become a decent or pro c-walker (I'm pretty good so far )
2. Lose 10 pounds (I gained TOO MUCH weight over the holidays :O)
3. Grow my hair out (To get the hairstyle I've always wanted but never had!)
4. Keep my room clean (It's so bad...like a tornado happened INDOORS :\)
Uhhh...School started today! So now I have something better to do than sit around playing video games, though you can't get much better than that
