Knitting on a Loom
I recently bought a purple Knifty Knitter loom. I've made several hats, scarves, and pom-poms using the directions it came with. I want to start making other things. Can someone tell me how to read patterns I find online? Of make a video of how to do it? I'm a visual learner so a video would be nice.
I am using the long looms but I found a couple of videos for them on youtube. Like you I couldn't follow the directions on the website. I hope it's ok to post a link here:

Thank you!
Yay!! Other loom knitters, jeez I thought I was the only one.
Youtube does have some informative videos, of course I figured out on my own how to put panels together to make blankets and ponchos. Would love to see some your work!
omg other loom knitters! i thought i was the only one too!
i tend to just use a long loom to make scarves at the moment as im not that skilled but hoping to make a throw for my bed soon
I am another loom knitter.
I have a long and a round loom. I prefer the long loom because it makes a double stitch. The round loom is only a single stitch.
Super easy fingerless gloves knit on a small round loom.

Just stared a loom knitting blog.. http://www.loomahat.com .. All the projects have a video.. Don't like patterns
Yup, and I'm a loony looker too. Beanies, pouffs and blankets. Really want to try slippers. New here. Lovely to see you all
I'm a loom knitter too! yay! if you find any easy patterns let me know please!!
I use more of a formula. I use the figure 8 stitch and make a 40 inch scarf, then give it a twist and sew the ends together for the warmest cowl. Bulky yarn on a long loom.
I really would like to start using a loom. Both a long one and a sock loom... Has anyone went from using needles to a loom? Is it weird switching?
It is actually refreshing to switch. Not hard to go back and forth and cuts down on the repetitive stress motion injuries I think.
