This old 70s seat gets a new look
I bought this settee five or six years ago at a rummage sale for about five dollars. I reupholstered the seat with what used to be my kitchen curtains and sanded and painted the rest!

Thanks! I did sand the metal & wooden parts of this before painting it and it *almost* convinced me not to paint it because it was a pretty brushed silver underneath. And although I didn't use rustoleum like I probably should have, I did use a primer & an acrylic top coat.

wow that is so very cute, I have a chair similar to it but it has a round stool and I so love it , but it needs a makeover really bad, did you have to sand the wire before you painted it , and did you use rustoleum ?? i have 10
