    Print out your design onto a piece of paper.

    Stick the paper to a piece of thick card using double sided sticky tape.

    Cut around the outline of the design.

    Gather your EL wire.

    Use an awl to punch a hole through the bottom right corner.

    Slip the EL wire through the hole from the back.

    Make a second hole on the R where the first line ends and slip the wire back through to the back.

    Bring the wire back through to the front and loop around into the shape of the R.

    Work out the ups and downs and length required for the remaining letters.

    Keep going until you reach the end of your design.

    Make small holes above and below the letters.

    Use a small piece of thin wire to hold the wire in place.
