Put down the knitting needles and fake your way to a knit-covered table.
If you already have a wood-plank bench or end table, this project will only take 5 minutes and under $10. If you don't have the table, you can build one with any board and some table legs in about 10 minutes.

    Cut out a section of your blanket. It needs to be large enough to wrap around your wood plank from top to bottom. It needs to be long enough to stretch from one side of the plank to the other, minus 4-6 inches on either side.

    Starting on the bottom of the plank, fold one corner of the blanket under and staple it in place.

    Staple across the length of the blanket along the entire underside of the wood.

    Fold under the cut side edges and staple them to the bottom of the board, pulling the blanket taught as you go.

    Flip the board over and continue folding the sides under and stapling them down.

    Flip the board back over so the bottom side is up and finish stapling the blanket in place, covering up the other edge of the blanket.

    Drill screw holes in to the bottom of the plank where you want the legs to go and secure legs in place. (If you are working with an existing table or bench, skip this last step.)
