About
I am a seamstress mostly self taught and trained by my mom. She was a quilter. She is still with us but sadly her eyesight has faded and she can not finish the 100 quilt tops she has cut out over the years.
I did spend some time in Theater Costuming and learned many skills. But most of my knowledge is self taught and through others in the craft. I learned a long time-ago there are no wrong questions, except for those you did not ask out-loud.
My advice to beginners and Novices ask, read, research all you can, and in the end Play with the knowledge you obtained, the end results might surprise you.
In my spare time I enjoy Playing D&D and reenactment games such as NERO, Amtgard, SCA
I am a mother first, to two kids. I am a Wife second, to a loving and artistic husband, who has also spent many years in theater classes. And Last I am a shop owner to a small online business, where I sell my wears and handmade goods. I also teach pagan studies on the side, twice a month.
May you all be crafty and find inspiration in everything around you.
