Hey, Im Rachel - im really into sewing, i have only been sewing since xmas '08 (my machine was a gift - thanks mum xox). I havnt had any training, just been reading alot of books and getting tips from mum, grandma and my friend who is a seamstress.

Im 21 and i live in Queensland, Australia. I dont have any friends my age that like sewing. So id really love to meet, talk and share photos and projects with people around my age that love sewing and craft too.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE CATS! - does anyone else make clothes for their cat like i do?

I had a Shih-Tzu/spaniel poodle mix named Petey, who loved to be dressed up. The first costume I made him was a pirate vest, and his accessories were scraps of bandana tied around a paw and an oversized pyramid spike collar. He already had one black eye, like a patch. We went trick or treating that way! Later he was a cockatiel, and a dragon. I also made him cute shirts for every day wear.

i should post an outfit ive made for him 4 u to see.. unfortunately i ddnt make the spiderman one hes wearing in my profile pic, i bought that one.

let me know when you do make something. i bought a pattern specifically for cat clothes, i started to follow the pattern, then of course i ended up jst winging it but im really happy with how it came out, i just use my husbands old shirts (dont tell him haha)
