i like creating new and unique items by reclaiming yarn, recycling goods, and upcycling old bits of fabric and such.  most of the items created for this blog and the shop use something recycled with something new.  i hate to throw things away (ask my hubby!). so i like to find a way to give them a new life.i really enjoy working with jersey.  i scour rummage sales and thrift stores for unique tees and such. the jersey material is generally used for my handstitching. i also like to get a hold of older denim. it has such character. and of course, there is nothing more relaxing in then unwinding an ugly old sweater and turning it back into something more beautiful and usable.i am just starting to sell my wares online.
