How To-sday - Yesterday's Finest Spring Morning Earrings
This week's tutorial is by far the easiest I've ever made for you guys, but I also think it's one of the prettiest. This is a sure way to make a bold statement that looks much more complicated than it really is and will add a bit of vintage-style glam to any outfit!

Step 1Apply an even, moderately thick layer of adhesive to the back of the cabochon.

Step 2Firmly press the cabochon to the center of the filigree. Hold it in place for a few moments, and then set it aside to dry for several hours. You can also use a hairdryer on low heat to speed the drying process a bit.

Step 3Repeat steps one and two with the other filigree and cabochon.

Step 4Thread your kidney ear wires through the fronts of the tops of the filligrees.

Step 5You can use pliers to twist the catch of the ear wires to permanently hold the filigree in place, although I prefer to leave it open so that the earrings can be interchangeable.

Step 6After both ear wires have been attached and possibly permanently affixed, you now have a bold statement piece with a beautiful silhouette!

Step 7There you have it folks - one of the easiest and cutest projects I've done for How To-sday, so what are you waiting for? You can't really see the filligrees against my dark hair, but the point is - they're super-flattering, and you're bound to get tons of compliments on these gorgeous things (no need to tell them how easy it was)! Go buy some cabs and filligrees and get to crafting, and then send me pictures when you make them!!!
