Simple, yet effective. Nail art using striping tape can take your nail art to the next level. Here I have used random tape placement to create different patterns on each nail using different colours. Super simple, no real skill required... just a bit of patience.

  • How to paint a stripy nail. Stripey Nail Art - Step 1
    Step 1

Start off by applying two coats of a white nail polish for your base/undercoat.

    Step 2

Using striping tape (which can be purchased for next to nothing off eBay) create patterns on your nail where you want white lines to be.

TIP: Ensure that your base coat is completely dry! If it is even the slightest bit wet, the tape will rip the polish off.

    Step 3

Paint your chosen nail polish colour(s) over the top f the stoping tape and peel the tape off straight away while the colour polish is still wet.

Finally apply a top coat to seal in the design, and thats it you are done!
