Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight~
Around the time that Transformers had been released on DVD, I had gotten a paper clip jewelry kit with a little booklet inside that would show me how to do some shapes. I don't know if there was a how-to to make stars, but I kinda learned from that book how to make stars, and ended up making a few pairs of little star earrings. They're really cute, especially with the beads on them! Here's a how-to on how to make them!

*ALSO, the items needed in this how-to are each of one set of earrings.

  • Step 1

First, get your paper clips ready. This consists of straightening out your paper clips to where you're not having to have a hard time fixing it from its original state to a star.

(Pardon the fact that I don't have pictures for it, having to take pictures every few seconds for a project kinda gets annoying, and it gets frustrating when I forget a picture.)

  • Step 2

Get you needle-nose pliers and bend your wire at 4 equal (more or less) points on the wire. Make sure to bend them all in the same way. With each bent area, make a acute angle (that's the smaller angle) and adjust the wire once bent to make a better star!

(If I can remember to think about it later on, I might make a video on how to make the stars. Make sure to tell me if the directions don't make sense!)

  • Step 3

    (OPTIONAL)

If you want to put beads on your star like I did, then before you bend the last part of the star, leave that part straight and bead on 4 beads. (I had glass beads that sometimes wouldn't fit on the paper clip, so be wary of what fits and doesn't fit.) Bend the last part of your paper clip and you've finished your earrings~!
